To answer your question though, The Pokémon Company has, to the best of known knowledge, never given specifics on how long Pokémon may remain in a Pokémon Bank Account with an expired subscription. It's believed by some that they simply periodically do a sweep of sorts which may automatically remove Pokémon from expired accounts, although there is no proof of this. At the current time though, there have not been any plans announced for the Pokémon Bank service to be offered on the Nintendo Switch or for it to be compatible with the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like there's not much you can do at this point. If your pass expires and you do not purchase a new pass, you'll still be allowed to withdraw your Pokémon from Pokémon Bank for a set period of time following the pass expiration, but once that set period of time ends, any Pokémon remaining in your Pokémon Bank Boxes will be lost. This is why it's important to withdraw Pokémon as soon as possible following your pass expiration, or to purchase a new pass as soon as possible.

How long exactly before the Pokemon in Bank get deleted after a subscription end? Is there any way to make sure we are notified before this happens? I don't want to get the new Pokemon game only to find out that all of my Pokemon have been deleted. Will there ever be an option to choose automatic resubscription in the future, to prevent this from ever happening?

I see there was a typo, I did buy the subscription, and I'm hoping that you could restore my old Pokemon that are missing

Hello Jav11800,

If your Pokemon Bank pass expires, you have a certain amount of time in which to withdraw any Pokemon you currently have stored. Unfortunately, after this period elapses, those Pokemon are lost, and we unfortunately do not have any way to restore them, even if you purchase a new pass.

Sincerely,

NOA MOD Alex
